Cade's First Steps

More of Cade's Birthday

When we got back from Utah we had a little birthday party for Cade. We went to "Going Bonkers" for a couple of hours. Kens loved going there and Cade had a lot of fun also.

Cade loved going down the slide. He would get to the bottom and turn around and start climbing back up. He couldn't wait to go again. It was so much fun.

Kens and I made a cake for Cade. It got pretty messy!

He didn't like being sung to again. It is kind of funny.

He loved the chocolate cake.
He was so excited about his new car. It was a good buy, he plays with it all the time.

I forgot to mention that Cade got his first official haircut in Utah. I trimmed his bangs when he was about 8 months old. His hair was looking really long and shaggy.

Oh, I love this boy! He is so cute, his new haircut makes him looks so big.

Fun to be One!

Our little boy turned 1! I feel so blessed to have had my little buddy in my life for one whole year. He is such a joy, he keeps us smiling. He is the happiest boy, he is always smiling and so easy going. It has been so fun to watch him grow. I LOVE BEING A MOM! It is so rewarding and I love my little family. Happy Birthday Baby Brother! We LOVE you!

We were in Utah for a week. It was such a great trip. We were able to be there for the triplets baby blessings and for Cade's birthday. It was great to see everyone. It was SO fun to see my parents new house. I am so happy for them, it is an amazing home. Kens loves helping poppa mow the lawn, she gets to drive around with him. It is such a gorgeous place.

It's raining, it's pouring...

It has been so rainy lately. We got Kenslee's rain boots just in time. She was so excited to wear them and play in the rain.
"My favorite color is purple", she tells everyone this. She LOVES her purple. She has a purple room and we just bought her a purple bean bag. She points out everything that is purple. I had no idea that someone could love a color so much. This is her favorite dress with her purple matching shoes. She looks so pretty in purple!

Billy and I were able to have a little weekend get away. It was so nice and very relaxing. We went so far away...Frisco, TX. It was a long 30 minute drive to our resort. Even though it wasn't anywhere amazing it was SO nice. We went to dinner and a movie both nights. We hung out by the pool and went to the temple together. It was a much needed vacation. I could use another one soon!
