Full of Questions

Kenslee is FULL of questions. I feel like I am being tested all day long with so many questions, some are pretty tough. Sometimes I have to give up. After trying to answer a question five different times, and she still doesn't like the answer, I have to resort to...I don't know, ask your dad when he gets home. Her reply when I end with that is, why does Daddy know everything? I would like to see him try to answer all of these questions all day long! Since being pregnant, I am just done by 7 pm. I start out so strong in the morning, my answers are so good and I love having conversation with Kens but as the day goes on my brain is dead. Dinner time has been a killer with "why" questions. The other day I asked her why she has so many why questions? She answered right back and said, because I want to know EVERYTHING! How could I argue with that! I love how she is so interested in everything and so curious. Billy says she gets that from me because I sometimes do the same thing to him. Except there are times I know he knows the answer but he just doesn't want to answer me. ;) I love watching Kens learn, she is growing up so fast.

Kens had a very sad question the other day. I was doing the dishes and she came over to me and patted my bum and asked, why is your bum getting bigger too. I was in shock. Then she went on to ask if it was because the babies head was in my belly and the bum is in my bum, so that is why my bum and belly are both growing. I wish that was the answer!! Oh, it is so sad to have a child who can notice things like that while you are pregnant.

Kenslee did have a nice prayer the other night. While saying it she prayed that my belly would keep getting bigger and that when the baby comes out it won't hurt too much. She is so concerned!

Spring Time

It has been so nice lately. I absolutely love Spring. We have been spending so much time outside. I am trying to take it all in because I know that soon it will be way too hot to be outside. The pool is where we spend our summers.
Kens loves flying her princess kite, and Billy loves flying Cade's Toy Story kite. :)
Kenslee woke up one morning and decided it was her pet puppies birthday. Her puppy Tiki was turning four so we had to celebrate. We were already having friends over for the day so it worked out perfect. We just made some mini cupcakes and sang to the one and only Tiki. After this, Kens thinks that everyday should be Tiki's birthday.

Happy St. Patrick's Day!
We started our morning with Lucky Charms, which I was very surprised, Kens didn't like them. Cade liked the marshmallows but nothing more. For dinner we decided to make green pancakes.
4 Months Pregnant
I had a nice Birthday. I can't believe I am 27, time just flies! I feel so lucky to have the life that I have. I have an amazing husband, and two kids that make me smile everyday. I am so excited to add another little pip squeak to the clan.
Happy Birthday to me!
Billy took me to Bob's for dinner, it was DELICIOUS! It hit the spot. I have been craving a filet that just melts in your mouth. It was such a fun, relaxing night with amazing food.
My sweet girl
This is the face that we have been seeing LOTS lately. He will just do it out of the blue and this is the face he pulls when you tell him to smile. He is such a cheeser.
Kens and Cade have so much fun playing together. It is so much fun to watch. I couldn't have asked for a better big sister for Cade. She is so much help and just loves her baby brother. I love my kids!

Kens getting ready for gymnastics.
So excited for gymnastics.

She has gotten so good at the balance beams.
Here we are waiting to find out...Boy or Girl! BOY!

I can't believe March is already over. I just realized that a year ago on March 5th we left to Sweden. I can't believe that was a year ago. There are so many things that I miss about Sweden and the experiences that we had. I am constantly thinking about all of the things that I loved out there. We did so many fun things and learned so much about a different culture. I also fell in love with the food (dried cantaloupe and strawberries, amazing yogurts and granola, fresh bread, kebab plates, ice cream cones everywhere, and more). I still dream about my two running trails along the river. Oh how I miss running outside in a gorgeous place. I loved all of the time that I had to spend with my kids and husband. We lived in such a simple apartment and lived such a simple life. While Billy was at work I would get to explore and spend time with the kids. I am so happy that we got to do this, and I still can't wait to go back one day.

IT'S A...

BOY!!

There wasn't any confusion with this one! He was not shy, and from the close up I think we are pretty positive. :)
(Sorry for this awesome picture!)

The baby looks great! We are so excited to have another little rascal running around. Cade will have so much fun with his little brother. We took the kids to the Dr.'s office to find out with us. When the Dr. said it was a boy, Kens was so disappointed. She said, ohhhh...I wanted a sister. After we left the Dr's office we talked about it and she is so excited. She can't wait to wrestle with both of her baby brothers. She says she is counting on the next one to be her sister!

We would like to introduce...

"Princess Pea Under The Rock"!

We added to our family this past weekend. We decided to get a pet goldfish. As we were driving home and Kens was holding the fish, we asked her what the fishies name is. I have no idea where she came up with it, but it is "princess pea under the rock". She has such an imagination, she always makes me smile with the things she comes up with. She has told us the past couple of days that we can call her (the fish) "princess pea" for short. The kids love having a fish. Cade gets so excited and makes me hold him while he sits and points at it and says fish, over and over. Kens feeds it every morning and loves to watch it. I am just keeping my fingers crossed that I can keep this little pet alive. I make myself nervous, I have an awful record with flowers and plants(I know these aren't pets but I feel like in a way they are, and I always kill them) and hermit crabs. How tough can a little goldfish really be right!?

Welcome to the family Princess Pea Under The Rock!!

Valentine's Day and More

Somebody needs a haircut...

Record snow storm in Texas. We had so much fun playing in it and making a snowman. Cade mostly just sat in the wagon, he's not sure about the snow.
Happy Valentine's Day
Making cupcakes
Cade anxiously waiting for his cupcake.
Kens after her school v-day party. She was so excited about all of the candy she got.

Cleaning the bathroom. Such good helpers. Kenslee modeling her new skirt I made for her.

This makes me laugh every time they do this. Kens thinks it is so funny when she is getting undressed to shake her booty at us. Now when she does it Cade always joins in. It is SO funny and cute. I try to catch it on video, but by the time I get the camera out, Cade won't do it anymore.

On the Road to Recovery!

My brother is such an amazing person. He is the most optimistic person I have ever met. He finds the good in everything. He has been able to be so positive through this whole process, even though it has been the toughest and most painful thing he has gone through. He started chemo three weeks ago and got his bone marrow transplant(this was such a blessing to find a donor) a week after that. They have had to keep giving him chemo through out the process. Today is such a HAPPY day!! He was suppose to have his last dose of chemo, which causes all of the pain, but they found out that the engraftment has already started! He is ahead of schedule, SO NO MORE CHEMO! WAHOOOOO...!! We are all so happy about this, because now he can just start healing. He still has a long road, but this is such good news I had to share.

I love my brother, he has always been such an example to me. There are many times that I feel like I am the little sister. I look up to him so much. I am so proud of him and it has been killing me that I haven't been able to be there through any of this. I am just thankful that I have been able to talk to him on the computer and phone.

I love you Blakie! Things are looking GREAT!!

HAPPY BIRTHDAY TOMORROW!

This has been his friend through it all! They say at night it looks like a Christmas tree.
