Summer fun before the Baby

Running through the fountains

Kens found Grandma's dress-up box. This entertained her for a few days, she was always wearing some new outfit. This was one of my favorites!
Kens has had so much fun with my camera. I have had to delete SO many pictures. This is one I found, I thought it was pretty cute.
Nothing better than hanging out with my kiddos all day!
They are best buds (most of the time).

Kenslee finished swim lessons and passed! She had so much fun. I was definitely done by the end of the 2nd week.
38 weeks prego
Kens could not wait to meet her new baby brother.

Our little cowgirl

The Friday before Nash came, Cade broke his finger. Cade and his cousin McCoy were running around playing and the next thing I know Cade was screaming. I ran up the stairs and his finger was smashed down to nothing. He got his finger slammed in the door. I knew right away that I needed to take him to get it looked at. I was going to be really surprised if it wasn't broken. We got it X-rayed and sure enough it was broken. So for 3 weeks he got to wear this splint, which was a fight to keep on at times. I actually just took him back to get it x-rayed again today and it is healed, so no more splint. YAHOO! It is funny because he still keeps it straight, so he is really good at flipping the bird.
Poor boy and poor little finger.
Princess Kenslee, she is such a sweet, funny girl.
This boy is such a stinker, but man do I love him! The day before Nash arrived, on Tuesday, Cade slipped on the tile. He didn't catch himself so he went face first. His lip was all bloody and I looked and his front tooth had a big hunk gone. I haven't had the chance to take him to the dentist but I am hoping that they can just fill his tooth and make it look normal again. I will have to try and get a picture of it. I don't know what to do with this boy, I am hoping that we are done with all of these accidents for a while.
39 weeks
Kenslee started preschool. She could not wait to go back to school. I was pretty excited myself, she is just such a busy body. She goes 3 days a week, which has been perfect with the new baby. It helps her stay busy and gives me a little break.
Showing off her new back pack.

This is all this boy does these days. GOLF!
My gorgeous Kens.

Baby Nash is Here...

Nash Mark McGuire
August 25, 2010
4:55 am
9 lbs
20 inches

Nash finally decided to come join the family! I woke up at 12:30 am with hard contractions, so I waited for about an hour and knew it was the real deal. We headed to the hospital, I delivered at St. Mark's. By the time I got into my room it was about 2:30 am. This little one was SO ready to get out. Cade came really fast also, but this was even quicker. I only got one bag of antibiotic, that is with them making my arm burn like crazy because they had to hurry and rush it in. I also only got one bag of antibiotics with Cade, we have been lucky and neither one showed any signs of Strep B. Once my water broke, it was over, I was ready to push. I had to wait until my Doctor showed up, thank goodness he lives close. He was born at 4:55 am. He is healthy and very chubby. My doctors are always about a pound off on what they think my kids are going to weigh. It is funny because they are always surprised when they see their actual weight. I just feel blessed to have healthy, happy babies. Nash has been such a good baby so far. After a week he is already back to his birth weight. He is such a cute boy and we love him SO much. It is so fun having another little one to snuggle. Cade all the sudden looks like such a big boy. It is so fun to have a new addition to the family. The kids love him, and are so cute to him. I have to keep my eye on Cade though. Kens loves helping me with the baby and gives him lots of kisses.

I absolutely love my little ones. How could I not love my life, look at them!!
Kens picked this Pooh Bear out for Nash. Billy had to take her to a few different stores for her to find the right one. Its perfect!

SOLD

We sold our house! WAHOOOOOOOO!!

We were starting to get nervous that it wouldn't sell before the end of summer. It is such a relief! I am going to miss my house so much, it is sad to think that it is not going to be ours as of September 10th. It was such a great first home, I became very attached. Now it is just the stress of finding a new house that we love and in an area that we feel good about. We have started the search and haven't had much luck. I need to take a break from searching and make sure I am ready for this little baby that we could meet anytime soon. I haven't done much for this poor baby because we have been so busy and life has been crazy. I do have good news...we have made a decision on a name. That makes me feel good!

Cheers to selling our house!
(I can say that selling and buying houses is such a pain. Boo!)

So much Playing!

At Grandma's house the kids get spoiled with so many cupcakes. They love it!

A favorite toy at Grandma's.
I thought Cade's face in this was really funny, not sure what he is doing.
We have had the Tooth Fairy come to our house already. I thought it wouldn't be for another couple of years. With Kenslee's help her first tooth fell out. We were on our way home from swimming and Kens was very tired. She was determined to get this bracelet off that she had to wear at the pool. I was driving us home and I kept telling her I would cut it off once we got home, just wait a second. She kept trying then she decided it would be a good idea to try with her teeth. She did one good pull and then she was complaining about her tooth hurting. When we got home I looked at her tooth and it was so loose. I knew it was going to fall out. I thought what in the world was she thinking and how hard did she pull. She didn't just pull with her teeth once I think she kept trying a few times. She wouldn't eat for the rest of the day and most of the next day until her tooth finally fell out. We were driving in the car again and she just casually said to me, "here Mom, my tooth just fell out". We decided that we should take her to the dentist just to make sure that her other teeth were OK and that she didn't do any damage. They took an X-ray of her teeth and it showed her permanent tooth. The dentist said that is why her tooth came out easier than we would have expected. Kens will just have a missing tooth for a year or two. What a goof ball!

24th of July

35 weeks
Fun day with Cousins
Cade snuggling his favorite blankie and he loves his binkie.
Best Buds!

Cute little smile!
Kens loves her Nana
Cade loves his Poppa
Cade is so crazy about golf right now. He will usually have a golf club and ball in his hands. If he doesn't have those, he will be holding a car.

Kenslee loves making flower bouquets from Nana and Poppa's house. She gets to ride around in Poppa's tractor and they pick special flowers for her new bouquet. I need to get a picture of them on his tractor, it is so cute.
