Utah Baby...Here We Come!!

It is true, we are actually moving to Utah. I still am in shock that after being away for five years we are going to make it back there. It is amazing how quickly everything happened. Billy has a great job in Utah that he is really excited about. We are so, so, SO, happy to be done with consulting! It has been a good job for three years and given us so many opportunities. We are just excited and ready for our next stage in life. We have loved our time here in Texas. We have a great house that we will miss, it is always hard to leave something that feels so much like home. We have amazing friends that we will miss SO much. They have been like family to us.

Our house is officially up FOR SALE. We are keeping our fingers crossed that we can sell it fast so that we can be in a house before the baby comes. We will see how that goes. Our plans are to leave by Wednesday and get to Utah by Friday. We are driving our car with a U-Haul trailer and taking the things we think we will need until our house sells. Once our house finally sells we get to have a company move us. This will be so nice. I can't imagine having to pack and move all of our stuff that we have now. I was ok with it when we had a 2 bedroom apartment. We are so anxious to get to Utah and see everyone! We can't wait to live by family and be able to see them whenever we want. This will be so fun and really weird at first, it might take some time getting used to. Being away for five years is a long time. I know we are going to love it though and the kids can't wait.
Cade thought he was really funny standing on the wrong side of the sign. He is a little stinker!

Just thought I would throw this in. 6 months prego. (28 weeks)

Kenslee Graduates!

Kenslee did it...she graduated her first year of preschool! She LOVED going to school. She had so much fun learning and getting to play with so many of her friends. She is very sad it is over. She will miss her teacher, Miss Melissa, she was so great with all of the kids.

They sang a couple of songs that they learned at school.
Leaps and Bounds Preschool Class
We have started our summer of swimming...
Cade is relaxing by the pool.
Kenslee "graduated" gymnastics! They tested her on everything that she has learned and she passed. She has loved gymnastics and it has been so fun for me to watch. This is her class plus a couple of kids from a different class.
Showing off her ribbon.
Good job Kens!
We went to a carnival in Grapevine. It was fun and super hot! Kens loved riding the dragon roller coaster. I loved her face while she was on it, she had the biggest smile.

Waiting for the exciting ride.
This lama made me laugh. I wish I would have gotten a close up of it. It had the funniest face. It was great!
Popsicles in the bathtub.

Texas Rain

I let the kids play in one of our crazy down pours. They got soaked! Kens loved every minute of it, Cade wasn't too sure about it.
Kenslee loves bugs. She is not afraid of any creepy, slimy thing. She was having so much fun finding and picking up worms.

This is where Cade liked to be, in the dry garage.
Here are some pics I have taken of the kids lately.

Cade loves his lions, but he is VERY attached to his blankies.

Head Wound

We had a pretty traumatic day on Friday. I went to pick the kids up from our friends house, she watched them while I was at my Dr.'s appointment. We were talking for a minute on the front porch and the kids were playing. Cade was walking/running towards the door and tripped. He hit his head right on the edge of the brick step. We new right away that it probably wasn't good. Head wounds bleed so much, it finally slowed down and we could see that I should take him in to get it looked at. He was not a happy boy. The Dr. took him back and started squirting cold water on it for a long time. After doing that for awhile and Cade almost throwing up a few times because of screaming so hard, she pulled out the stapler. They don't numb they just start stapling away. I felt so bad for my little boy, he was in so much pain, I thought he was going to pass out. There were four nurses and me holding him down. After five staples she was done. A sucker seemed to solve everything pretty fast. We went home and gave him Tylenol and a nice nap. When he woke up he was back to his happy self. We have to keep giving him Tylenol because he will start to touch his head and say "ow". He only has to have them in for five days. Wednesday we get to go back in and get the staples taken out. This makes me cringe thinking about. The Dr. made it sound like its no big deal. It is just always so sad when things like this happen to your kids. He his a tough little one, and is just fine, nothing a few staples can't take care of.

Mother's Day and lots more...

The kids love our new bubble machine.

I took Kens to the Cinderella ballet. She had to wear all of her Cinderella attire. I loved watching how excited she was to go and she absolutely loved the ballet. She came home and danced around like a ballerina for the next few days. It was so fun going out with my girl.
Silly boy
Kens loves her new nightgown.
Kenslee went to a birthday party where she was lucky enough to drive a go-cart all by herself. She did such an awesome job. She had the biggest smile the entire time. She was being such a flirt with the boys that worked there. She would turn the corner where they were standing and she would look at all of them with the biggest smile. She did this every time. It was so funny, I think we are going to have our hands full with this girl.
Off she goes...

Kens made me a breakfast in bed bag for Mother's Day at school. This is the picture she drew of me.
I thought this was so cute. I am so glad that something so simple as turning on a show will make your child love you so much! :)
Happy Mother's Day!

Cade's face in this picture is so cute. He is so excited for me to open my presents.

I love my Mother's Day gifts!
I am so lucky to be a mom to these two amazing kids. I love them SO much! I can't imagine my life without them. I feel so blessed and lucky. I can't wait to add a third little one to the family.
My new diaper bag from Billy! Thanks Babe! I LOVE YOU!
Kens started swim lessons. She is doing really well. She has started to put her head under the water, and will stay for a minute.
