Halloween
We went to the Pumpkin Patch again with Billy, it is such a fun place.

Kens was entertaining her baby brother while I was making dinner. She kept bringing him toys and would show them to him and then put them by him. He was surrounded by some fun toys! She is a great big sister.

We had so much fun this Halloween! We had a Halloween dinner for family night. We made yummy pumpkin pizza's and for dessert...spooky Black Cat Cupcakes. It was a lot of fun to make this together.

Kenslee made 3 cupcakes and she would have kept going if we would have let her, she loved making the black cats. I thought that 3 was enough for her to eat.

Kenslee helped me design her pumpkin face and carve it and then she was on her own with painting, she made her pumpkin beautiful! It actually looks pretty creepy, but her intention was to make it very pretty and she did great!

Billy didn't want to paint his pumpkin, but Kens didn't let that happen. She helped him out and made it look so much better.

This is our sweet "Princess Witch". You couldn't just call her a witch because normal witches are too scary, so she was a "princess witch".
Billy loves that I always make him wear some costume for Halloween. When I told him I made him a shirt, his reply was "Can't you just let me be". No way... what fun is that!

I love this one, I think they have had enough with the pictures!
Cute little "Cade the Ghost"...I love squeezing this little guy.
For Halloween we got together with some of our friends and had a blast! We took the kids Trick-or-Treating together, then we had some Chili and cornbread for dinner. It was great watching the kids together and trying to keep up with them as they ran from house to house.
Kenslee had a pretty tramatic fall at one of the houses. She was the first one running up to the house and there was a skeleton that started dancing when she ran buy. It scared her and some how she face planted and lost both of her shoes, her hat and her pumpkin bucket, candy was everywhere. Being the mean mom I am, I was trying not to laugh because there were people around that were really concerned for my daughter. She was fine and just a little startled from the dancing skeleton. Once we got her shoes back on and picked up all of her candy she was off to the next house. It was very funny and I am still not sure how everything went flying!

Nana and Poppa visit and our Two little Pumpkins
Nana and Poppa came to visit for the week. It was so much fun and very nice to have the help. By the end of the week I started to venture out with the little boy.

The day before baby Cade came we went and picked out pumpkins. Kens got to decorate a pumpkin at the nursery, it turned out very cute.

Introducing baby Cade!
So Cade decided that he'd had enough and came a day before Jacee was going to be induced. Jacee went into labor on Sunday morning and Cade was born at 7 pm that night! She had a great delivery, and things actually went very fast once she started into labor. I'm doing great and recovering well from it all. Jacee and Cade are doing great as well :)
For some reason, Jacee and I have pretty big babies...Kenslee was 8 lbs. and Cade was 8 lbs. 11 oz. (and was a week early)! He is doing great, and Jacee and baby should be home on Tuesday.
Just thought I'd throw up some pictures for everybody to see--I'm sure Jacee will be putting more up in the next few days!

Just a few things...
We are so excited for FALL!
We haven't been up to much, just trying to get everything ready for the baby. I thought I would post a few pictures of what we have been doing.
Church for us is at 1:30, so we have a long morning on Sundays where we try to figure out what to do with ourselves. One morning we went to the pond to feed bread to the ducks--unfortunately there weren't any ducks at the pond, so we ended up feeding the bread to the fish.

Billy started playing indoor soccer. It is so much fun going and watching him play. Kens loves to cheer for her daddy, she yells "Go Billy"! It is really cute.
The kids got so excited because they got some candy out of one of the machines at the indoor soccer field so they kept trying them all hoping for a little more.
38 weeks!

Kenslee is so excited for Halloween, we have to look at all of the Halloween decorations whenever we go to a store.
Hope everyone is doing well and having a great beginning to the Fall season!

Kenslee can read!
Well, she can't really read. But, we've realized that she is very good at memorizing books! She loves to "read" and have books read to her, so we have been going to the library every week to get new books for her. After she's had some of the books read to her about 5 times, we've found that she's memorized the book and can read it to us!
Below are some videos of her reading some books to us. The first video shows her reading a "Teddy Bear" book and another one about "Poppy and Max." The second video is a bit more impressive with her reading a more complicated book. I'm not much of one to brag, but do have to say that Kenslee keeps impressing us with the things she does!!
